Industrial Trust & Cyber Assurance

Enterprise Security Standards

Industrial operations cannot tolerate data breaches or unplanned software outages. Wrysto implements rigorous zero-trust controls, defense-in-depth architecture, and military-grade encryption to protect mission-critical equipment records and plant operations.

SOC 2 Type II & ISO 27001 Tier AlignmentAES-256 & TLS 1.3 EncryptionRPO < 1hr • RTO < 4hr DR

Zero-Trust Network

Every microservice, technician mobile request, and ERP webhook is mutually authenticated and inspected.

At-Rest & In-Flight Ciphers

Customer databases and offline mobile caches are secured with AES-256; web traffic strictly requires TLS 1.3 with HSTS.

Granular RBAC & SSO

Enforce least privilege access across technicians, planners, and directors with SAML 2.0 / Okta / Azure AD SSO.

Immutable Audit Logs

Every work order signature, LOTO safety clearance, and meter change is permanently hashed for statutory audits.

1

Defense-in-Depth Industrial Security Philosophy

Industrial facilities operate in high-consequence environments where downtime directly impacts power grids, manufacturing supply chains, and worker safety. Wrysto approaches cloud security through a strict Zero-Trust architecture and multi-layered defense-in-depth model.

No user, device, or network service is implicitly trusted, regardless of whether requests originate from a corporate plant LAN, technician 4G tablet, or external ERP integration endpoint. Every API request is verified with short-lived cryptographically signed tokens and contextual authorization.

2

Cloud Infrastructure & Physical Tier-4 Data Centers

Wrysto core production systems are hosted across Tier-3 and Tier-4 enterprise cloud facilities (AWS / Google Cloud Platform) offering premier physical, perimeter, and environmental safeguards:

Physical Security

24/7 armed perimeter surveillance, two-factor biometric access controls, and strict visitor logging with zero customer data physical access by unvetted personnel.

Environmental Redundancy

N+2 redundant uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), backup diesel generators, automated fire suppression, and dual-zone climatic cooling.

DDoS Mitigation

Multi-terabit volumetric DDoS mitigation (AWS Shield / Cloudflare Magic Transit) guarding DNS, application gateways, and WebSocket connections.

Multi-Region Redundancy

Geographically isolated hot-standby replicas ensuring rapid automated failover in the event of regional connectivity disruptions.

3

Cryptographic Standards: AES-256 & TLS 1.3

All plant asset registers, work permits, technician shift handovers, and uploaded engineering schematics are safeguarded through cryptographic standards:

  • Data in Transit: Enforced through TLS 1.3 (with fallback only to TLS 1.2 with secure ephemeral Diffie-Hellman cipher suites). We maintain an A+ rating on Qualys SSL Labs, strictly enforcing HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) with preloading.
  • Data at Rest: All relational databases, document caches, and file storage buckets are encrypted using AES-256 (Advanced Encryption Standard). Database snapshots and cold archive tapes utilize distinct rotating keys managed via Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
  • Cryptographic Key Management: Keys are managed through automated Key Management Services (KMS) featuring annual automatic rotation and separation of duties between software developers and operational key custodians.

4

Identity, Role-Based Access Control & SSO

Industrial teams require fine-grained separation between mechanical technicians on the floor, electrical safety supervisors, warehouse storekeepers, and plant general managers:

  • Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO): Native integration with SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity providers, including Microsoft Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, and Google Workspace.
  • Mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Support for TOTP authenticators and FIDO2 / WebAuthn hardware security keys (YubiKeys) for all administrative and supervisor roles.
  • Granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Custom permissions controlling who can author work orders, approve purchase requisitions, release Lockout / Tagout permits, or export financial cost reports.
  • Automated Session Invalidation: Inactive sessions automatically expire after configured plant idle intervals; administrative tokens can be globally revoked in one click.

5

Offline Mobile App & Device Protection

Technicians frequently operate inside boiler houses, turbine halls, electrical switchgear rooms, or underground pump pits with zero cellular or Wi-Fi reception. Wrysto’s mobile offline client guarantees security while detached from the network:

  • Encrypted On-Device Storage: Local inspection forms, QR asset tags, and offline work queues are stored in encrypted client-side storage (SQLCipher / AES-encrypted IndexedDB) protected by device-level sandboxing.
  • Biometric Device Unlock: FaceID and fingerprint biometric authentication prevent unauthorized access to open checklists if a handheld device is left on a plant workbench.
  • Tamper-Resistant Sync Queues: Offline actions are cryptographically signed with technician session keys and sequenced with monotonic timestamps to prevent replay attacks or queue tampering during synchronization.
  • Remote Wipe & Device Revocation: Lost or stolen technician tablets can be immediately wiped of all cached drawings and plant registers from the central admin dashboard.

6

Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)

Security is engineered into our product from architectural inception through production deployment:

  • Automated SAST & DAST Scanning: Every pull request undergoes Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and software composition analysis (SCA) to detect vulnerabilities in third-party libraries.
  • OWASP Top 10 Mitigation: Built-in safeguards against injection (SQLi, NoSQLi), Broken Object Level Authorization (BOLA), cross-site scripting (XSS), and CSRF token manipulation.
  • Peer Code Review: All production code requires mandatory peer review and approval by designated security engineering leads.
  • Immutable CI/CD Deployments: Production deployments are fully automated via secure CI/CD pipelines with cryptographic artifact signing; direct SSH production access is strictly restricted.

7

Vulnerability Management & Penetration Testing

We continuously test our defenses against the latest adversarial tactics:

  • Annual Third-Party Penetration Testing: Independent, accredited CREST-certified cybersecurity auditing firms perform comprehensive black-box and white-box penetration tests on our web APIs, mobile apps, and cloud networks.
  • Automated Vulnerability Scanning: Daily infrastructure vulnerability scans scan container images, OS packages, and network ports for zero-day CVE disclosures.
  • Critical Patching SLA: Critical security vulnerabilities (CVSS 9.0+) are mitigated within 24 to 48 hours; High severity vulnerabilities are patched within 7 calendar days.

8

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (DR)

Industrial facilities rely on Wrysto for continuous daily shift handovers and scheduled emergency maintenance. Our disaster recovery framework is architected for extreme resilience:

Recovery Point Objective
RPO < 1 Hour

Continuous write-ahead logging and hourly incremental snapshot backups limit potential data loss to under one hour.

Recovery Time Objective
RTO < 4 Hours

Fully automated infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) enables rapid cluster reconstruction in an alternate geographic region in under 4 hours.

*All backup images are encrypted with dedicated keys and tested through simulated failover drills conducted quarterly.

9

Immutable Audit Trails & LOTO Safety Integrity

In the event of an industrial incident, insurance underwriters and national safety boards demand forensic verification of maintenance history and safety clearance:

Tamper-Evident Recordkeeping

Every digital signature, Lockout / Tagout clearance step, work order completion, and meter calibration entered into Wrysto generates an immutable, append-only audit trail record. Records capture UTC timestamp, user ID, IP address, device metadata, and before/after delta values.
